Newbie Project #19: FPA management system

Full page ads (FPAs) are a great advertising tool that is available from most sponsors. Utilizing these advertising tools can mean more sales if done properly and just as importantly, tracked (at least to a point of knowing what is being promoted and where)! With this in mind, this project was created to help simplify the original process to begin with.

Contained within this zip file here, are all the full page ads that are presently available within the CECash's Pay It Forward program. There also are the original template files as well as general set up instructions. As you can see by the example here, once this is unzipped to your computer (or server if you prefer) you will have access to an easy to use html set up where you can see not only what sites are available from the program, but also screen shots and links to each separate FPA. This will give you the ability to quickly copy and paste a specific FPA directories to your server, rename the directory and page itself, make your individual page modifications such as adding specific keyword text, all in a minimal amount of time. Add in the tracking section per FPA in the template pages and you have a working FPA management system. (All that is required from you before starting to use this is to change the linking codes on the FPA pages as well as the index files of the separate main sites directories.)

Once this system is set up, we can expand on this project within the original project thread here into areas such as specific keyword text creations, page layouts and modifications and so forth. One of the benefits of using CECash's Pay It Forward program is that you also have the ability to track each individual sponsor site link. Combined with the tracking sheets of this project, you will then be able to compare results in relation to text location, style and amount per page to see which provided the best results overall.
