High Impact Banners Part 2

Welcome to the second part of our High Impact Banners tutorial series, if you missed part one or need the Impact font (usable for this tutorial only) please download the High Impact Banners Part 1 Zip file.

Start by opening the .psd file in Photoshop, reset the colors to white foreground and add guidelines centered on the bar layer to use as a guide for our text... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions

Set the font to Impact, setting up the font parameters as per the screen shot... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Our text has snapped into a slightly lower position than ideal, so use the up arrow key on your keyboard to nudge the text up 1 pixel, then adjust the guideline to the new text center... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Add a deep red multiply stroke to the text to make it easy to read and stand out well from the banner... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Duplicate the text layer to use as frame 2 and hide the pervious text layer... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Alter the text to "In Titty Fuck Heaven?"... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Duplicate the text layer, for frame three, and set up the banner with our second boob image. this way you can match the text to the image that's showing... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Change the text to "Bite my Hard Nipples?" for frame three of our text animation... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Duplicate the layer and change the text to "And Drive me Wild?", our frame four text... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Change the boob image to our third boob image, and duplicate the text layer to use for frame five... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Alter the frame five text to "Suck my Big Nipples!"...Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Duplicate the text layer and change the text to "Click Here Now!" our final frame of the banner animation. You should generally use 'click here' on banners to grab the surfers attention and let him or her know that this is a clickable image... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

To give our overlapping boobs a 3D look, increasing the impact of our banner, add a drop shadow to the boob 3 layer... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Copy the layer style, then change the boob image to our first boob frame and paste the style to our boob 1 layer... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

We only need the drop shadow effect on our bar. To delete the drop shadow from above the bar we need to create an editable layer from our effect... Right click on the F and select Create Layers, then click OK to breake down the style into it's component layers... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Change the boob image to boob frame three and repeat creating layers for the overlapping boob 3 image... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Draw a Rectangular Marquee covering everything above the bar layer... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Select the boob 3 drop shadow layer and press delete on your keyboard to remove any shadow above the bar... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions.

Change to our first boob frame and delete the shadow above our bar layer... Click Here to view Screen Shot with Instructions. Save your image as a .psd file to continue in the next tutorial, final touches and adding our animation!
